FAQs
Is the reformer delivered fully assembled?
The Studio Reformer comes partially assembled. The remaining assembly steps involve installing the springs, shoulder pads, and risers. Click to watch the Balanced Body video on unboxing and assembling the Reformer. You can find the assembly instructions in PDF format in the Documents section.
What are the differences in frame height?
A 36 cm frame height is the most common; it makes all exercises easier.
The 46 cm frame height is ideal for users with limited mobility and older adults. It is also easily accessible for wheelchair users.
The 61 cm frame height provides good clinical ergonomics for manual adjustment and support, but is too high for standing and lunge exercises.
How can I prevent the reformer from sliding on the floor?
Non-slip strips can help keep the studio Reformer stable on hardwood floors or low-pile carpets.
What is the best way to clean the reformer?
Clean the padding and the footbar cover with Balanced Body or mild soap and warm water. Alcohol, bleach, and chemical cleaners will damage the padding.
Wash the loops in cold water and let them air dry regularly.
Dust and clean the rails, wheels, and springs regularly.
