Different spring strengths provide resistance and support while the user pushes on the foot bar, pulls on the straps and sits or stands on the trolley. The exercises vary from simple isolated movements of the arms and legs to complex exercises that work the whole body. The exercises provide a challenging full body workout for everyone - from predominantly sedentary office workers to high performance athletes and users recovering from injury. Users feel refreshed and energized after workouts, and don't experience the aches, pains and fatigue often associated with exercise. This vintage-style machine gives the user the original feel and experience of training with Joe Pilates himself.

Highly developed springs

The development of the springs in particular was very extensive and detailed. In addition to spring hardness, diameter and length, the spring thickness, extensions and many other factors were taken into account and developed into unique springs using a great deal of engineering skill. It is no coincidence that the springs are at the heart of the Contrology Reformer.
