Which tower is right for my gym?
Tower conversions up to 2.1 meters in height are suitable for rooms with low ceilings. The Allegro Tower requires a ceiling height of at least 2.5 meters for all exercises. Measure the available ceiling height before purchasing.
Can I use a Tower even if I have no prior experience with Pilates?
A basic understanding of Pilates is recommended. The spring support makes many exercises easier, but proper alignment remains important. Start with light springs and gradually increase the resistance.
How do tower systems differ from trapeze systems?
Towers are primarily designed for vertical spring work using push-through bars. Trapeze systems also feature horizontal bars for hanging exercises. Both use the same spring system from Balanced Body.
What is the minimum ceiling height I need?
Compact tower conversions work with ceiling heights of 2.1 meters or higher. For full-size Allegro tower systems, you should allow for at least 2.5 meters so that all arm and leg exercises are possible.
Can I upgrade my existing Reformer to a Tower?
Yes, Balanced Body tower conversions for all Allegro Reformers. These simply attach to the foot end of the Reformer and transform it into a combination machine without taking up any extra space.
